Whole 30 Chili

Happy Wednesday Sweet friends! How is your week so far? Mine has been great and today I can't wait to share with you an amazing and HEALTHY recipe that a friend shared with me for my whole 30 experience. I love Chili's, Soups, and Stews so when I heard of this recipe my heart skipped a beat. This chili is packed with so many veggies and so much flavor. It's a great recipe if you have little kids as you can add as many veggies and let me tell you it's so good they won't even care. This chili has been a game changer for me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Top Five: Songs for Summer 2016

Hello and Happy Monday sweet friends! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was so so so good! I meal prepped, spent time with my niece and 2 of her sweet little friends, cleaned, and spent my Sunday afternoon by the pool! It was divine!! We swam, soaked up the sun, and listened to my summer play list on Spotify.  It was a great afternoon. It also got me thinking about what is the summer song of 2016? While Summer is just beginning there is ALWAYS an summer anthem that everyone knows and is titles the "Song of the Summer." I thought it would be fun to bring you another one of my Top Five post's and include 5 songs that in my opinion are big contender for that coveted spot!

One// Can't Stop the Feeling- Justin Timberlake

You guys, honestly this might be the winner, I love JT and I love this song. It's such a feel good, roll down your window and jam, get up and dance kind of song and I am OBSESSED with it!!

Two// Smoke and Fire- Sabrina Carpenter

If you read my post on Friday  then you saw that I added this song to my favorites. I had never heard of this singer before and she popped up on one of my Spotify play list's and I fell in love. Her voice is amazing and her songs are catchy.

Three// This is What You Came For- Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris has done it again- That is all! :)

Four// Stone Cold- Demi Lovato

This song, although sad is so good. Her voice is so powerful and beautiful.

Five// Send My Love- Adele

She is amazing and this song just makes me want to sing along and cruise in my car with my girlfriends. It's so catchy and the beat is fantastic!

Do you have any songs that you would say is your summer song for 2016? I would love to hear them so I can add them to my play list! Leave them in the comments below!!

Have the best day!

Chicken Meatballs

Happy Monday sweet friends! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was amazing and like always didn't last long enough. A sweet friend got married Friday night; I made brunch for some friends and was asked to be a bridesmaid in another wonderful friends upcoming wedding, and yesterday was spent poolside with my sweet family and ending the night watching Miss USA with my wonderful roomies! I love weekends like this, filled to the brim but so wonderful. My heart is for community and being with people so being able to enjoy all the company made my heart so full.
I love to cook and I love trying new recipes but there are a handful of recipes that are tried and true and are always a hit amongst friends and family. My chicken meatballs are definitely definably on the top of the list for week night meals. I made last week for dinner for my roommates and I think this will become a staple in our house.
Chicken Meatball Pasta:
1 lb of ground chicken
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
2-3 basil leaves finely chopped
1 clove of garlic finely chopped

In a large mixing bowl add in your egg, parmesan, bread crumbs, garlic, basil, and salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients together and round into small meatballs.
Turn heat onto medium and drizzle olive oil in the pain. Fry meatballs until thoroughly cooked

Boil your water for the pasta and cook noodles till al dente

Add your meatballs to your pasta and sauce and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
I like to serve it with a salad!
This is so easy and delicious!!! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
I hope you have the BEST day!
