Easy Meatball Subs

Hello sweet friends, Sorry I have been a little MIA but I have been soaking in time with my sweet new nephew! He cannot be anymore precious and my heart is just smitten!  How has your week been so far? I cannot believe how fast it has gone by for me. I blinked and today is Thursday! Instead of linking up for Confessional this week I am going to bring you an easy yummy recipe that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. With my sister just having a baby we have been trying to help with dinners so that she is eating and not having to worry about cooking. This is a great meal to bring to a new mother or family because it's so easy!



 

 

 

Meatball Subs:

 

1 bag of frozen meatballs ( I like to use Simeks turkey meatballs)

1 Jar of pasta sauce

Hoagie Sandwich bread

Mozzarella cheese Slices

Fresh basil

 

 

 

And here is how easy it is...

 

1.Throw your meatballs and pasta sauce in the slow cooker on low and cook them till they are heated through.

 

2.Then turn on your broiler and layer the meatballs on your hoagie and top with a slice of cheese.

 

3.Stick the hoagie into the boiler and let them cheese melt.

 

4.Top with fresh basil and enjoy!

 

 

 

Can this be anymore simply? It's a tasty easy dinner option that is a crowd pleaser. I like to serve it with steamed veggies or a light salad.

April Goals

Happy Monday sweet friends! Did you all have a great Easter weekend? I had the best time relaxing and enjoying some time off of work. I also became an aunt to a sweet baby boy! Benjamin Robert was born Easter Sunday at 2:19pm weighing 6lbs and 10oz. He has the sweetest face and a head full of dark brown hair. I am smitten and cannot contain my excitment.

Could he be any more perfect!!

 

 

 

Being the last week of March I want to get all of my goals for April together and share them with you! I love setting goals for the month and checking them off when they are all done. Plus sharing them with you makes me stay more accountable! So lets get started:

 

 

April Goals:

 

1.Over the last few months I have been de cluttering my house and getting rid of things I don't use or need. This month I want to finish this up so I can have it all done before summer.

 

2. Take a walk after work to unwind everyday. When the weather has been nice I have taken a long walk in the evening. This has done so much for me. It helps me to unwind after a long day at work and the fresh air has been amazing!

 

 

3. Save Money. I have some fun things planned for this summer but I need to save my pennies!!!

 

 

4. Continue to meal plan and only eat out once a week.

Easter Idea's

 

Hello sweet beautiful friends! Happy Wednesday! How is your week going so far? Mine seems to be flying by. My sister a doctors appointment yesterday and found out they will be inducing her on Saturday!!! My sweet little nephew is going to be here in a few shorts day! I am over the moon excited to meet him! It seems like yesterday she was telling us she was pregnant and now he will be here! Also does anyone else feel like Easter just snuck up on us? I feel like we just celebrated Valentines day and now here we are 3 days away from Easter Sunday! Hey Sweet friends, and Happy Monday! Did you all have a great weekend? Mine was fantastic, a little busy but just a good weekend! My sweet niece was dedicated to the Lord yesterday, I had a fun girls night, and we celebrated a sweet friend's new baby at her shower. I also went and saw the new Divergent movie Allegiant this weekend. My review... it was okay. The movies have not followed the books at all but it was alright.

 The other day I was reading Anna's and she shared a quick 5 questions and answers post. I thought it would be fun to answer them as well. Check them out below and let me know what your answers would be.

Confessional Thursday

Good Morning sweet friends, do you know what today is? It's Confessional Thursday!!!! One of my favorite days of the week. I love that I get to confess and share with you! I also love that I get to link up with other fantastic blogs and read what they are confessing. Today we are linking up with Jessica over at The Newly and I couldn't be more excited!

I Confess:


- Daylight savings is kicking my butt this year. My entire sleep schedule is off. Hopefully I can get it back on track this weekend because I am all kinds of groggy.


-I love the fact that warmer weather is upon us. All I want to do is be outside. I want to nap in the sun, eat out on the deck, and go for long walks. I just want to be outside breathing in the fresh air and soaking up the sun.


-I want nothing more than to clear out my closet and start fresh. I am feeling a little tired of my clothes and thinking I may need to clean out my closet and start saving my pennies for a fun shopping trip.


-Speaking of saving my pennies I really really really would love to plan a vacay. I haven't taken a real vacation in the longest time and I think it's really important to take time to relax. I think I will be looking into a few trips to take this year.


-THE BACHELOR FINALLY, Holy cow anyone else having serious anxiety watching. I was totally Team Lauren and I thought he was going to pick her until that episode and then I was TOTALLY confused. I will say that my heart is so happy he picked Lauren and I am really happy Jojo is the next Bachelorette.


-I cannot wait for my sweet sweet nephew to be born, he could officially come anytime now but my sister's due date is April 2nd.

Life Lately

Hello Sweet friends! Happy Wednesday. I gotta be honest and say that for some reason daylight saving is kicking my butt this year. I can't seem to get enough sleep this week. I am so happy we are halfway through the week. I haven't shared a Life Lately post in a while, so I am excited to share with you a few snaps! Lets jump right in!

 

 

 

We had a Cuisine Queen cook off at church this last weekend and my sweet niece made this adorable Lamb Cake! Seriously how much cuter can it get!
