Five on Friday

IT'S FRIDAY!!!
Cue the confetti and bring on the weekend.

Hello sweet beautiful friends, can you believe it's already the end of another week! I am so happy to get out and enjoy this weekend. I don't have anything to crazy planned but I am PUMPED to have a few days off from the craziness of the week!! Today we are linking up with A. Liz Adventures  for another Five on Friday! Let's jump right in.

One// This weekend we are having a Cuisine Queen Cook Off at my church and I am so excited to be with all these wonderful women and enjoy some GREAT food! Also my sweet and precious niece is entering into the Jr division and it makes my heart so happy to see how excited she is!!!

Two// I watched 2 great movies over the last week. First one was Bridge of Spies starring Tom Hanks.... 2 words SO GOOD! It took me 3 weeks to finally get it on Red Box and it did not disappoint. And second was Everest, It was sad and I cried but a good movie.

Three// I am so excited for Easter! I have been thinking about what I am going to wear for church and brunch with my family. This dress is at the top of my list, but I also love this one.

Four// I am in LOVE with this Dry shampoo. It has been a game changer for me and I think you all need to go to Sephora and grab yourself a bottle. It makes my hair feel fresh and clean and doesn't make my scalp itch and feel like I am holding a bunch of product. I love the volume it adds as well.

Five// The Bachelor FINALLY is this coming week; honestly I am a little sad Ben's season is going to be over. I really loved him as the bachelor. I am however to excited and happy to see how this all ends and to see who he picks! I don't think I have ever wanted a Monday to come so quickly!

I hope you have the very best weekend and I will see you all next week!

Confessional Thursday

Oh Hello there sweet friends can you believe it's already time for another confessional Thursday!! Say What?! This is one of my favorite days of the week, ya know why? Because I get to share my confessions with you and I get to link up with Jessica. If your new to this blog Thursday's are the day we confess! So lets jump right in and see what I got for you this week.

I confess:

~My sister is about to have my very first nephew and I could not be more thrilled! She is due April 2nd and I have already been buying all the clothes at Target and Baby Gap for a little boy. I can't wait to see him wearing them.

~Who else watched The Bachelor: The Women tell All on Monday? Here are my thoughts:

1.Leah ohh Leah, why oh why did you lie to the girls and then try to defend yourself?

2. Ben I still cannot believe you told 2 girls you loved them, also I want to know who your
talking to on the bathroom floor.

3. Caila is the next Bachelorette

4. I LOVE Chris Harrison

~ The other night I had no desire to cook dinner so instead I ate Oreo Thins and caught up on the The People vs. OJ. Have you ever had Oreo Thins... They are AMAZING just the right amount of Oreo.

~ I am dreading daylight Savings this weekend and loosing a precious hour of sleep. :(

~ Okay time to get a little serious. Reading blog post's like this one make my heart so full and happy. Fostering to Adopt has always been something that I have wanted to do. I am no where near ready for this in my life but one day I will be.

Have the very best Thursday. I will see you all back here tomorrow!

Top Five: Kitchen Essentials

Hello sweet friends! Can you believe that it's Wednesday already?! I am excited to share with you another Top Five on the blog today! If you missed it Top Five is a little series we do here on the blog that showcases my top five picks in a bunch of different categories. If you missed any of the other Top Five's you can find them here, here, and here. Today I am geeking out and sharing my love of kitchen essentials. Yes you read that right I love new things for my kitchen. I love to cook and find that having the right tools is extremely important. So lets jump right in!

Top Five Kitchen Essentials

1. Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer : I believe 100% that this is a MUST HAVE in your kitchen. You can do so much with it. I received mine for my Birthday/Christmas present a few years ago from a secret Santa. I still to this day don't know who its from. But I am so grateful for it. It is a spendy item but you guys if taken care of properly this will last you for years. My grandma still use's the one she got back in the 80's. Invest in this beauty, you will not be sorry!!

2. Cast Iron Dutch Oven : If you remember this was on my Christmas Wish list and I am so glad I asked for it. The perfect pot for stews, soups, roast's, chili, you name it and this is the perfect pot for it. I love the fact that I can use it on my stove top and in the oven.

3. French Press : This is BEST way to brew your coffee. I love the richness and almost creamy-ness (yes I am well aware that "creamy-ness" is not a word) my coffee taste's when I use my french press.

4. Good Kitchen Knives : They make a huge difference when your cutting. I think you should invest in a great set of knives. They will also last a long time if they are taken care of. Trust me they quality of the knives makes a HUGE difference.

5. Pretty Cutting Board : Yes I said pretty. Not only is this extremely functional but it's looks pretty in my kitchen. I love that I can use this for not only chopping my veggies it serves as a serving platter for meats and cheese trays, French bread, and anything else I can think of.

What are some of the essentials you think are needed in the Kitchen. Do you have a Top Five? Have the very best day and see you back tomorrow for my Confessions!!

Confessional Thursday

I Confess:
This last week I went to the grocery store for a few things and ended up leaving with just a tube of cookie dough.
I want to add a few things to my spring and summer wardrobe. This dress speaks to me. This bag is at the top of the list. And These shoes.
Sometimes I leave my clean laundry in the basket unfolded instead of putting everything away.
I LOVE the Bachelor and reading this recap every week makes it even better. Seriously if you haven't read this you need to... like now.
I am so happy Netflix renewed Fuller House for season 2!! Also Jodie Sweetin is going to be on Dancing with the stars!! #doublewin
I cannot wait for March 18th, the new Divergent movie Allegiant comes out. I am a nerd about these books and films and already pre purchased my tickets.
I have to agree with what Jessica said about donut's over at The Newly . Why are we arguing about donuts just let us eat them!! #KrispyKreme #DunkinDonuts #Both
What are you confessing this week? Join the Link up here!!

March Goals

Can you believe it is already March?? I feel like I say this every month but wow is this year flying by so far! I am so excited because March means we are inching closer and closer to warm sunny weather and that makes my heart burst with excitement!

It's that time again I am sharing my goals for the next 31 days! If you want to read my past post you can check out February  here and January  here.

March Goals:

One// Get a jump start on my Spring Cleaning. Seriously you guys I need to do this. I need to get organized and de clutter!!! I want to get rid of things I don't need and don't use. I want to open the windows and get rid of all the dust!!

Two// Finish Planning my sisters baby shower: Baby Benjamin is 4 weeks away from making his grand entrance and I need to buckle down and finish this planning! We are having her shower after the baby is born because a lot of our family lives out of town so it's easier for it to be a Meet the Baby Shower!

Three// Finish Reading For the Love by Jen Hatmaker: I started it but February flew by and I didn't get to finish it so this month we are going to complete this book!

Four// Get even better at meal planning: I was doing so good with meal planning in January, but I got into a rut in February. If you have any good ideas or yummy recipes PLEASE send them my way!

What are your goals for this month?
